Elizabeth Marchant
Liz is a director of both Outsource and Recognition PR and is responsible for daily business operations for both companies, as well as managing the consulting and production teams to achieve the best possible results for clients.
Liz is also Recognition PR’s media trainer and has trained executives from companies including: AMD, CA, Capgemini, eBay, Imation, Ingres, Mincom, Philips and Runge.
Liz has worked as PR manager for Telstra where she was responsible for public relations activities relating to Telstra’s enterprise, business sales, consumer, marketing and sponsorship activities.
Major projects she was responsible for included the launch of Telstra’s Foxtel bundle, managing media activities during the Manchester Commonwealth Games and welcome home parades for the athletes and strategic planning for the launch of HomeMessages 101.
Liz has managed public relations for companies including HP, Optus, Palm, Spherion, Factiva, Hitachi Global Storage Technologies, Britannica, Hitachi Data Systems, 3Com, Borland, LearnNow, CorVu, SalesLogix, Edify, Epson, FrontRange Solutions, Identikey, NetIQ, Digital Equipment Corporation and Autodesk.
Liz has a post-graduate certificate in management, majoring in marketing from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management.
